The Homestead Resort is now taking entries for their Scarecrow Convention. The scarecrows will be on display from October 1 - November 1, 2009. MIDWAY, Utah (September 9, 2009) - The Homestead Resort is proud to announce their 1st Annual Scarecrow Convention. The individuals, businesses and other organizations are invited to submit their entries the last week of September for display throughout the month of October.
The Scarecrow Convention is open to Homestead Employees and the Public: Individuals, businesses, organizations, and clubs. There is no fee to enter and the Homestead will have the participating Scarecrows on display October 1 – November 1 for guests and the community to enjoy.
The convention is a great opportunity for the individuals
and businesses to show their creativity. Judging for prizes will take place
October 1 & 2, 2009. Participants must preregister with Becky Wood, Executive Assistant at
866-348-8993 extension 7434.
The Scarecrow Convention will run in conjunction with other fall events and activities planned at the Homestead Resort throughout the month of October including our Annual Pumpkin Launch, Sleepy Hollow Wagon rides and Halloween Party.
